SUMMER MINISTRY
This ministry provides an opportunity for young people to do summer missions with CEFOntario in children’s outreaches during the summer months. Before intensive training mission they must successfully complete two weeks of training. They are trained to do games, songs, and Bible based lessons to help children learn good values and morals. The work they do may be done in backyard clubs, Church Day Camps or Vacation Bible schools, fairs, and parks.

One of our mandates is to help the local Church to evangelize children in their particular area. Over the years we have been privileged to work alongside churches and other ministries in order to reach out to children with the gospel. We have had many groups send their young people to our training facility to be trained and then return to their respective camps, churches etc. to reach the children in their area. In the summer of 2006 we partnered with numerous churches and individuals to reach children all over the province. This was made possible by 50 young people who came to be trained and to work in teams throughout Ontario as a part of CEF’s Christian Youth in Action* (CYIA) program.. Together, we were able to reach 4000 children through 5-Day Clubs and Vacation Bible Schools. This year YOU too can partner with us to make a difference in a child’s life this summer. You can have two CYIA come and serve in your church/community for a week. A half day program is $200 Our CYIA come equipped to lead the chapel portion of your program. This includes: Bible lesson, games, songs, memory verse, and missionary story. Should you have the CYIA come and work with you for a full day, they will be an extra set of hands to help you in any way possible. So call us today to reach a child this summer. |
