VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Mailbox Club
Mailbox Club currently serves approximately 1000 students of all ages each year across Ontario. Children are invited to enroll in Mailbox as a follow-up to one of our key ministries i.e. Good News Clubs, Fairs, and Summer Ministry. Lois Young is a volunteer Coordinator of Mailbox Club. Your role would be to respond in a timely manner to the order for Mailbox supplies that markers request and to assist with light administration as it relates to Mailbox Club.
Time: ½ day per week during June, July, August, September and October
Needed: One Volunteer in Greater Toronto Area
work in CEF Markham office
1) Review MBC requests and orders
2) Pull requested lessons from inventory
3) Pack lessons for mailing
4) Prepare postage for each order
Literature Order Packaging and Shipping
CEF Press publishes excellent children’s ministry products and curriculum. Many churches and consumer’s choose CEF Press products as the curriculum of choice. Individuals also order evangelism and discipleship tools for the ministry to children. The orders are received through fax, email and through our customer service department. Your role would be to pull the orders and package them ensuring quick turn around to the orders.
Time per week: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (as needed) -1/2 day
Needed: One or two volunteers in GTA
work in CEF Markham office
1) Pull product from inventory
2) Pack customer orders for mailing
3) Prepare shipping labels
4) Prepare postage for each order
5) Place orders at front desk for delivery to post office
Office Help
Many hands make light work. This volunteer role assists the few staff members in the office with light office work i.e. photocopying, kit assembly, and mailing.
Time per week: ½ day or as required
Needed: One Volunteer
1) Prepare Good News Club kits for mailing
2) Complete photocopy jobs
3) Prepare regular office mailings

Monthly Mailings
We couldn’t run the ministry without the wonderful contribution of time volunteers provide in assembly of our monthly mailings. Together they make light work and in no time at all the mailing is complete to drop off at the post office. There is much laughter, chatter and encouragement as our volunteers gather around the table to complete a much needed task.
Time per month: 1-2 days a month
Needed: Five or Six Volunteers
1) Fold, collate and enclose mailings in envelopes
2) Run envelopes through postage machine
3) Pack envelopes in requested order in postal mail baskets
