CEF could not function without the partnership of our many volunteers and supporters. We can succeed only because God brings to us those who share our vision for reaching boys and girls for Jesus, and are willing to give of their time and resources. To those who have faithfully prayed and worked and given over the decades of CEF ministry in Ontario we say thank you.

We have exciting plans for the future, plans that we believe originate in the heart of God. Among the staff of CEF Ontario we are committed to seeing those plans become reality, but we can't do it on our own. We need your help now as much as ever. The list of opportunities for those who wish to partner with us is long. Please prayerfully consider how you might be part of the CEF team.

Prayer Partners: Join our team of those who commit to pray for CEF on a daily basis. We will help you by providing our monthly prayer calendar.

Slingshot Prayer Partners: As Slingshot grows we will need more and more people to pray for individual children who are part of our Slingshot program.

Prayer Group Leaders: We are always looking for people who will plan and host a group who to pray on a regular scheduled basis for the needs of CEF.

For those who want to work in ministry to children there are a variety of volunteer opportunities.

• Good News Club leaders and helpers
• Slingshot Saturday Clubs workers
• Camp Good News helpers (sports, games, crafts, kitchen help, counsellors)
• Mailbox Club Markers (minister by mail from your home)
• Fair Ministries (face painters, actors, puppeteers)

We have occasional need at the Brantford office in the following areas:

• Mail preparation
• Answering phones (periodic)
• Gardening / outside maintenance
• Painting and general maintenance

CEF is truly a faith mission. Almost all of our financial support comes from individuals who believe in our work among Ontario's children. Some support us monthly, others periodically as they are able. Most of our staff are also supported through private donations.

One of our foremost principles is to treat CEF supporters and their investments in God's work with the highest respect. We strive to be the best stewards before God that we can possibly be. Our financial records are always open and we welcome questions at any time about the expenses of the ministry.

If you are interested in providing financial help to ensure the ministries of CEF continue and grow, there are a number of ways you can direct your giving.

• General – Our need is for most of our giving to be undesignated, giving the ministry leadership opportunity to allocate funds where they are most needed.
• Staff - Funds may be designated to support the ministry of any of our field ministry staff. Click here to view information about the various staff members of CEF Ontario.
• Ministry Programs – Funds may be designated for a variety of children's programs, including Good News Clubs, Slingshot, Summer Ministry, Camp Good News, Mailbox Club, Fair Ministry, and Tel-A-Story.
• Slingshot Sponsorships – To sponsor an individual child who is part of the Slingshot program.
• Special Needs – Special needs arise from time to time in the ministry. Click here for information on the current list of special needs.
  Please note that funds may only be designated to projects approved by the CEF board. Should a project be overfunded, surplus funds will be re-directed toward other areas of need as determined by the CEF board.

All donations to CEF Ontario are receipted for income tax purposes in January of the new year. Donations may be made by cheque, pre-authorized giving plans, or by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or American Express). You can also give via Canada Helps, an organization that receives and processes online gifts to Canada's charities.
