“We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.” Proverbs 16:9.
Has there been a time where these words are more relevant than they are today? Two months ago everyone had all kinds of plans, plans to graduate; go on vacation; host a birthday party; go to church; and so much more. All of those plans have been dashed.
As a ministry, we’ve always been busy planning for Summer Missions Training, 5-day clubs, VBS and summer camps during the spring. But not this year. In light of COVID-19 and its effects on our world we’ve had to shift from live, in-person clubs and camps, to moving as much of that as possible online.
In case you haven’t heard I’m excited to share with you that CEFOntario is working on a joint-ministry project with other CEF Chapters across Canada to bring live, online, 5-day clubs to boys and girls across the country this summer and young people will have the opportunity to serve as missionaries across Canada from their very own homes!

At first, moving to an online program felt like Plan B, but as we worked on it, you could definitely see God’s hand at work. This was God’s Plan A all along. I am thankful to know His sovereignty and purpose before COVID-19, continues to during this season and will continue after it.
Will you join us in reaching boys and girls this summer?
